The company has revealed the design and colour options for the Oppo Reno 8T ahead of its upcoming launch. The company has now created a landing page that teases the arrival of the upcoming smartphone as well as some of its specifications. The Oppo Reno 8T had previously been spotted on various certification sites, indicating an impending release. The Chinese company debuted its Reno 9 series in November of last year, and rumours of a new Reno 8 series variant quickly followed.
The GSMArena-first landing page for the upcoming Oppo Reno 8T shows the smartphone in Midnight Black and Sunset Orange colour options. A 5G variant of the phone will also be available. The Oppo Glow design will be available on the Reno 8T 5G and Midnight Black variants, with a leather finish on the Sunset Orange variant.
The device is shown to have three rear cameras, one of which is a 100-megapixel portrait camera, as confirmed by the company on Twitter. On the upper left-hand side, a hole-punch cutout houses the front camera.
The Oppo Reno 8T had previously appeared on several certification sites, indicating that it would be released soon. It was found with the model number CPH2505 on the IMDA database, as well as the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Europe's EEC, and Thailand's TKDN certification sites.
According to these listings, the phone will have 5G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS connectivity. According to previous reports, the phone may support 33W fast charging.
Rumours and speculations about the Oppo Reno 8T began shortly after the Oppo Reno 9 series was released in November of last year. It comprises the Reno 9 Pro+, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 models.
